“This place is so lavish,” Johnny said as he held up the phone to show the casino cage. “Look here…”

Rupert stumbled backward from the phone with shock painted all over his face.
He did not hear a single word Johnny said afterward.

That place was truly the Sunshine Casino!

Victoria shot to her feet in surprise. “Are you serious, Leoric? That… Boss Nicholson really… He…”
She was so shocked that she could not come up with a coherent sentence.

It made her feel like she was dreaming. None of this felt real!
“That’s right, boss! I am back to ask for more men. I will revive Sunshine Casino to its full glory! Once we have complete control over it, we would be the second most powerful gang in Solaris Province, right after Boss Jarett!”
Hearing that, she excitedly nodded. “Okay! I will give you some men right now. Take whoever you want!”

When Rupert saw how easily Victoria agreed to give Leoric more men, he snapped back to his senses.
“No way!” He was practically buzzing with anger. “He is just a nobody! How can we give him so much power? I object!”
She frowned at him. “Rupert Shapiro! Who is the boss of Jeanne Gang—you or me? Do my words mean nothing to you?”
“You are the boss, ma’am.” A dark look flashed across his eyes.
“However, please consider this; there is no such thing as a free lunch. Perhaps this is all a trap set by Nicholson!”
She paused at that. She then turned to Leoric and said, “Who is this Boss Nicholson? What kind of man is he?”
“I…” Leoric hummed. “He would not let me say. He said he would visit you at Jeanne D’Arc when he has time…”
