Chapter 491 Getting Help

Mia let out a shrill cry of pain as she fell hard to the ground.

Clarence quickly rushed forward and helped her to her feet. "Are you alright, Mia?" he asked. Then, he uttered between clenched teeth, "Who is the new son-in-law that you've gotten for me?! Just call him up and tell him to come over and teach this brat a lesson!"

Mia rubbed her aching butt while slowly getting up from the ground. Pointing at Kingsley, she said venomously, "Fine! Since you have a death wish, I'll call my boyfriend over and make you and Reene grovel at my feet!" With that, she took out her phone and started dialing a number.

Beep… A few seconds later, the phone call was answered, upon which the venomous look on Mia's face instantly turned into a groveling smile. Not only that, she said in an affected voice, "Hey, honey! What are you doing?"

A casual and lazy voice answered on the other end of the line, "I'm looking after my grandma at the hospital with my dad. What's the matter? Did something happen?"

The speaker on the other end was none other than Nicholas Fox, the heir to the Prime Corporation. His father Matt was one of those involved in the murder of Kingsley's parents back then, and the Prime Corporation had grown stronger with each passing day since he swallowed up Xavier's Frost Corporation. Currently, he was the chairman of the Roseland Chamber of Commerce.

The Clark Corporation used to be a member of the Roseland Chamber of Commerce. However, the bigwigs had jointly put pressure on Matt from all sides, leaving him with no alternative but to kick the Clark Corporation out of the association.















Mia asked in a sweet girlish voice, "Honey, someone just bullied me! Will you come and help me?"

At this moment, Nicholas was sitting cross-legged by his grandmother Helen's sickbed in Hill Crest Hospital's VIP ward while looking impatient. "What is it again this time? Whom did you mess with?! My grandma needs to be attended to for her heart condition, you know?!"

Nicholas suddenly sat up straight at her words. "You mean Kingsley Nicholson?!"

"Yeah, you're right! It's that little b*stard!" Mia replied. She then asked in a coquettish voice, "I hear that you've got a beef with him, no? Just come over and sort him out for me, okay?"
