After he exited the call, Luke subconsciously opened the window that displayed the surveillance footage.

There was nothing to look at in the empty office. Luke turned off the surveillance and picked up the cold take-out box on the side. After he took a few bites, he stopped eating.

Luca nodded and looked at the researchers in the laboratory. They were pretending to be busy with their research but she knew that each of them had their ears pricked up so that they could find out why Jason was looking for Luca.
