The dim glow from the moon illuminated the man’s sharp nose, thin lips, and defined jaw. He tilted his head up a little to look at the sky, but he didn’t seem to realize her presence. Leanna’s first instinct was to turn and run away, but she saw Jonathan standing some distance away from her. He gave her a curt nod.
