Louis returned after taking out the trash. "It's almost dinner time, so should we go out to eat?"

She looked away and replied, "Can you watch him for me? I'll make something."

"I'll go," he offered. "I'll pick up some groceries and fruit while I'm out as well."

"Hey." Leanna called after him, "When are you going back to school?"

"Today's Saturday," he answered.

Shortly after Louis left, the doorbell rang. Leanna opened the door and saw Zoe leaning against the door frame. She blinked in surprise before saying, "Hey, can I join you for dinner?"

Leanna smiled and welcomed her inside and mentioned, "Come in. Louis just went out to buy groceries."

Zoe's eyes lit up at the news. "Well, I'm in luck then!"

Daniel arrived shortly after with a freshly brewed pot of soup. He placed the pot on the table and said, "Leanna, I've taken care of everything you asked me to."

Leanna hesitated for a moment before replying, "Thank you."

"Not at all. After Pearson Family's press conference, public opinion did change. However, some people still have doubts. However, ever since I posted the evidence you gave me, those voices have disappeared completely," he explained.

Zoe was snacking on some treats and commented, "I never thought I'd see the day when Aidan, who can be pretty ruthless, would show mercy on this matter."
