Chapter 50 Disappointment

"Ms. Davis has been found, but she has a high fever from the cold and is still on an IV."

Harper arranged it briefly and then left the ward.

She actually wanted to go straight to Lauren and ask for clarification, but that thought was immediately drunk out of her.

Benjamin braved the heavy rain in the middle of the night to find Lauren, but Lauren didn't force him with a knife holder around his neck. So, what qualifications did Harper have to question Lauren? Harper drove straight back to Pineview Villa. She washed up and ate breakfast, then took another shower before going back to her bedroom to sleep.

Inside the hospital, Benjamin woke up close to eight in the morning.
