Chapter 166 Bumped into Him

"Harper, I've missed you every single day!" Annie replied with a low chuckle.

They'd been best friends since high school, and that hadn't changed a bit.

Hand in hand, they walked to the parking lot. Once in the car, Harper said, "Let's grab a bite first. I've ordered your favorite dishes." "Sounds good. You're the boss." She nodded, playing along.

Harper just smiled and didn't say anything. Despite Annie's seemingly docile appearance, she was rebellious and mischievous at heart.

"What's different?"

"Can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's just been too long. Anyway, I plan to stick around and work on our friendship during this time."

Harper chuckled, "Alright, but you better not ghost me later."
