Chapter 208
With her pretty eyes, Sienna stared at Oliver for a long time before suddenly bursting into laughter. “You, oh, you. I was just scaring you! You’re quite naive and gullible, aren’t you?”
Hearing that, Oliver breathed a sigh of relief and pulled Sienna over to pinch her face. “Why are you scaring me? I’m a bit timid, you know.”
Sienna snorted. “You, timid? I think you have a lot of nerve. Forget it. I won’t talk any more nonsense with you.”
As Sienna chattered and chattered, she soon ran out of things to talk about, and she sighed faintly before saying, “Well, your boss, Hailey, is actually quite pitiful. She hasn’t had a mother since childhood, and now, her father is gone. She’s all alone abroad without any family, Oliver.” After a pause, Sienna suddenly looked up at him and suggested, “How about we take her back?”
Oliver was stunned.
A woman’s heart was deep and unpredictable. Nobody could decipher what it was that a woman wanted to do.
After saying that, Sienna also realized how her words sounded a little insincere. Hence, she diverted to a different topic and asked Oliver, “How is Yancy?”
Upon bringing up Yancy, Oliver’s thoughts were split as if he were stuck at a crossroads. He nodded and said, “I haven’t figured out the cause of the illness yet. Uncle Frederick’s mother-in-law, Melinda, asked for someone to bring a priest. She thought that Yancy was being possessed by evil spirits and wanted that priest to perform an exorcism.”

“Damn, that doesn’t make…” Sienna blurted without thinking. However, quickly, she recalled all the inconceivable things that happened when she was with Oliver. Those inconceivable things did not even make sense, either. Just as the word “sense” was about to escape her mouth, she swallowed it back. “I’ve also heard about Yancy.” Sienna furrowed her brows as she spoke and thought, “I have never heard nor seen a situation like this before. Anyway, I think it’s weird and abnormal!”
