Selena pov
I look at her like she has grown two heads.
“Maybe you or Jessie find someone and get babies who can take over one day.”
I place my cup down and take another bite of my sandwich.
“If you ask Kian he might be okay by giving you some of his little friends and you could get inseminated,” Emma says and I choke on my sandwich and start coughing heavily.
“Are you trying to kill her?” Sari says and comes over to give me a glass of water. I take it and start drinking.
When I finally manage to breathe without coughing I please the glass down on the kitchen counter.
“What?! I just gave a suggestion” Emma says and I just look at her and shake my head.
“You can’t say it wasn’t a good idea!”
I just roll my eyes and give up on this conversation, I’m not going anywhere with her.
Eating up my sandwich I take another cup of coffee and head up to my office.I can only imagine the amount of work I’m behind since I have been away for days.
Coming into my office I walk over to my desk and place my cup down.
Sitting down in my office chair I start up my computer and go over all papers and notes I have to fix.

Sighing to myself and sipping on my coffee.This day is going to be long.
I have been sitting in my office and trying to get on top of everything when Jessie comes knocking on my door.She smiles at me and walks into my office.
“I was a bit worried for you!” She says before she takes a seat in front of me.
“Didn’t Emma tell you what she knew?” I ask and look up from my papers at her.
“She did! But you know how she is! If she thought it would be good for you to meet him she could probably even be okay with you being marked by him or forced to stay as his prisoner for a while”
I just shake my head at the thought.
I know Jessie is right.
Since the day I ran into her in the woods while she was fleeing by foot from being forced to be mated with a fifty years older widow who wanted her to be his sex slave we have been inseparable.
For a while it where us two against the world.
Trying to find food and when we one day came across Sari our new life began.
I had all these years of combat training with my father and I took the time to train her every day.
Since then we often train just to keep us going.
We have been on a lot of rescue missions and more than once have we been fighting for our lives.
Not knowing if we were going to make it out alive or not.
There isn’t anyone else I would rather have by my side than her in a fight! ”
I know you are right! I should have stayed away from going to the fight if I have known what would happen”
leaning back in my chair I look out the window.
“How was it to see your mate again?” She asks me and I only have one thing to say.
“He is the same shitty mate since the last time I met him! No one I would ever want in my life!” I honestly tell her.
“Does he know you are a white wolf and what your gifts are?” She asks and I turn my head back to look at her.
“Unfortunately he knows I’m a white wolf but I didn’t give away any clues about my gifts and I’m going to keep it that way! I left his kingdom without a trace and they are going to think I’m dead, for a while at least.When they don’t find my body they might start to question if I’m dead or not” I tell her and sigh.
