Janet rounded her eyes in awe.

Daran snapped the Rogue King’s neck.

Did this mean that…

Excitement exploded in her chest like a million fireworks. Yet before she could rush forward and congratulate Daran, something horrible happened.

Janet couldn’t believe what she just saw.
