Chapter 266 The First Dance

Adam waited outside, growing uneasy as each second passed without a sign of Claire coming out of the bathroom. His unease twisted into suspicion, then anger. Unable to hold back, he stormed inside, shoving the door open with force.

His gaze locked onto Claire and Daniel, standing far too close for comfort. A surge of fury flooded through him, igniting his rage to an explosive level. Without a second thought, he lunged forward, yanking that man away from his wife and immediately landing punch after punch on his face.

“How dare you touch my wife,” Adam roared, his voice thick with fury. Claire’s heart raced in panic–what if someone saw him beating Daniel like this? He couldn’t afford the scandal or the damage it would do to his reputation. Desperately, she tried to pull him away.

“Adam, please, leave him!” she pleaded, placing a trembling hand on his arm. His gaze snapped toward her, eyes bloodshot and blazing with rage, sending a shiver down her spine.

“The media is here,” she whispered urgently. Adam’s jaw clenched as he gritted his teeth, then, with a final shove, he threw Daniel to the floor. Swiftly, he grabbed Claire’s arm and pulled her out with him.

Claire hurried to keep up, confused by the intensity of his anger. She had seen him upset before, but never like this–this was a fury she hadn’t thought possible. She quickened her steps, trying to match his long,
