“Theard you are getting discharged tomorrow. Your engagement is in two days. Get some rest today. You are going for dress picking and fitting tomorrow. I have informed Hunter about it. He will pick you up’ My heart wrenched painfully and tears welled up in my eyes when I read the text had sent to me. I knew there was no point talking him out of it. This was his final decision, and not that there was anything I could do about it, anyway.

The sound of the door opening drew my attention, so I quickly wiped my tears and looked in the direction to find Chloe.
