Chapter 115 To Mr Harris

Nathael’s expression visibly darkened as he stared intently at Maggie. With a cold smirk on his face, he taunted. “Ms. Adam’s tactics seem to be increasing by the day.”

The apology that was on the tip of Maggie’s tongue was swallowed back, choked up by that remark.

This man started to address her as ‘Ms. Adam‘ again.

But even though it’s the same title, it doesn’t sound the same.

Maggie curved her eyes, her smile more sardonic than sincere. “My tactics have always been varied; Mr. Harris is hardly new to this.”

Stung by the comeback, Nathael pursed his lips as he glared at her with inscrutable eyes.

Maggie wasn’t intimidated. She said softly, “Mr. Harris, aren’t you going to change your clothes? Or, would you like me to help?”

She watched him with a half–smile on her face. There was a hint of annoyance; unlike her usual indifference, she was on alert and ready to strike.

The flight attendant quickly came over to assist Nathael with his clothing.

Nathael thanked her, then stood up with a somber expression.

A few minutes later, Maggie saw him return in a different outfit, having swapped his suit for a white shirt and black trousers, a more casual look that seemed more relaxed.

Maggie smacked her lips. She still had the sunglasses on, as if she hadn’t noticed his return.

A fair and slender hand passed a paper bag to her.

Maggie paused briefly. Her gaze followed the hand to Nathael’s face.

What is this?

Is this a gift?

“Ms. Adam seems not to be planning to take responsibility, Nathael said in a deep voice as he placed the paper bag on the table in front of Maggie.

Maggie smiled and looked at Nathael. She asked, “What do you want me to take responsibility for?”

Nathael scoffed coldly. “Use your brain.”

After he spoke, he picked up the book he had been reading before and continued to flip through it.

Maggie bit her lip. She cast a glance inside the paper bag to find his recently changed clothes neatly folded and kept inside.
