Chapter 121 Good Time

Maggie’s inner characters engaged in a furious battle, but it ended quickly–in just a few seconds–and the little one warning her against foolishness had already lost.

Moments later, as the elevator slowly halted, Maggie pressed the button to close the door and returned to the previous floor.

Nathael cast a glance at her and appraised her silently.

Maggie, without saying a word, silently calculated whether she had enough money with her.

The elevator doors opened with a ding. Maggie grasped Nathael’s hand and walked out of the elevator.

Nathael looked down at the hand she’s holding and couldn’t help but focus on her again, curious about her intentions.

With every step‘ Maggie took, she felt as though her heart was bleeding.

Yet, paradoxically, her legs seem bewitched, not heeding her commands.

Driven by a clear goal, Maggie soon leads Nathael into a store.

“Please find this suit in his size and let him try it on.”

Maggie went straight to the point.

Nathael raises an eyebrow, surprised that she had brought him back to try on clothes.

“Sir, the fitting room is this way.”

Nathael gave Maggie a look, then turned and entered the fitting room.

Maggie exhaled softly, acknowledging her debt to him. Otherwise, why would her body do something against her mind?

Despite this, she had to admit that she was looking forward to it.

Minutes later, Nathael emerged from the fitting room in the suit, causing the other salespeople and customers to stare at him in awe.

Alex couldn’t help but take a few more glances, acknowledging Maggie’s consistent good fashion taste Maggie gazed at the man before her and was momentarily lost in a daze.

The black suit doesn’t look dull but reflects deep blue hues under different lights. The gold embroidery at the collar and cuffs was luxurious yet delicate, and the vintage gold buttons added an air of ancient nobility.

His features were cold and resolute, with clear contours; on his pale complexion, a pair of deep–set eyes were long and enigmatic, he had a staright nose and thin lips.
