Chapter 766: Someone Causes Trouble at the Property Office

Tina let out a long sigh, releasing the frustration in her chest, and looked up at Jared.

"Uncle, the X Bureau has been disbanded. Are the people who were locked up in their prison still there?" she asked. Jared paused, visibly startled. "Let me check," he said.

He had heard that the prisoners from the X Bureau's facility had been relocated, but since he didn't work there, he hadn't paid much attention. While he wasn't sure what Tina was planning, he figured it wouldn't hurt to give Christopher a call to find out. After all, if Tina wanted to know, it had to be important.

Meanwhile, at the Bailey family estate, the large tea hall was filled with people. Victor sat at the head of the room, surrounded by several key figures, including Luke Gill and Mrs. Ogden, who should have been playing the pitiful patient in the hospital but was instead sitting upright, her demeanor tense and formal.

"Luke, what's the situation at the hospital now?" Victor asked, his gaze sweeping over the assembled crowd before landing on Luke.

Sitting beside him, Luke lowered his head, fidgeting with his phone. His knuckles moved restlessly as he muttered, "I was late, Dad. I'm sorry. I underestimated Tina and her people. I didn't think they'd react so quickly."

Victor's eyes flashed with disappointment, but seeing Luke's downcast expression, he couldn't bring himself to speak harshly. Instead, he nodded lightly. "The Farrell family has always been difficult to deal with. You haven't interacted with them before, so it's understandable that you were caught off guard. Phil Walker, Mrs. Ogden, what about your end?"

Phil Walker chuckled, patting his chest confidently. "Don't worry about it. The idiots online are easy to manipulate. I've already leaked the Dyer family's location to them. By now, that pathetic old man and the little girl are probably trapped at their home."
