On their way back, Jared received a call from Hayden, saying there was an issue at the estate in the suburbs and that Jared should come to check it out.

Tina was driving since Jared had been drinking earlier that afternoon. She asked for the location, planning to drop him off there before heading back to the Pace family estate. Jared, however, didn't agree. The suburb was far, and more importantly, the place was being renovated as a surprise for Tina. If she saw it beforehand, the surprise would be ruined.
