Chapter 527:

Wayne looked at Damien, who was reminiscing about the past, and smiled like a child.

“Wayne, do you know why Stella didn’t like me at that time?” Damien struggled to understand why Stella had never shown any affection toward him.

“Because you were a kid.” Wayne flicked Damien’s forehead playfully.

“Me? A kid? No, I just pretended to be oblivious around her.” Damien rubbed his forehead, still unable to grasp why Stella felt that way.

“Stella and I met first, and we’ve known each other for so long. But in the end, RK, my cousin, took her away.” The thought of RK made Damien’s anger flare, especially since RK hadn’t treated Stella kindly.

“Good boy, love isn’t something that can be forced.” Wayne rubbed Damien’s head, then stood up and walked to the desk. He gazed out the French window, seemingly lost in thought.

“Hmph… as if you know anything about love. You haven’t even been with a woman, and yet you’re in love with me.” Looking at Wayne, who was standing there, Damien remembered something his secretary had told him.

He blurted it out, forgetting the secretary’s repeated warnings not to mention it in front of Wayne.

Upon hearing Damien’s words, Wayne’s expression changed immediately.

“Who told you that?” Wayne turned around, looking intently at Damien.

Caught off guard by Wayne’s penetrating gaze, Damien froze.

“Don’t say it, right? It’s simple—just fire my secretaries and assistants.” Wayne observed Damien, who seemed dazed. He looked serious on the surface, but inwardly he was amused.

“Wayne, you can’t do this. It wouldn’t be right to expel so many people for something I said accidentally.” Damien quickly moved toward Wayne.
