Chapter 1320

The door swung open. For a split second, his gaze crashed over Whitney like an ocean tide, deep and impossible to escape.

Whitney's palm trembled, beads of sweat prickling her skin. It was the dead of winter and her wedding dress was light as silk, but she felt feverishly warm, her heart thudding like it was on fire, heat racing through her veins.
