York frowned, clearly out of sorts today.

"No need, take her away."

The manager's smile remained unaltered as he gestured for Daisy to leave, and the two of them tactfully made their exit.

Once they were a certain distance away-

Daisy: "Didn't you mention that Mr. Gibson usually enjoys company when he stays over? What happened today?"

Manager replied, "That's usually the case, but there are exceptions. Do you think when a man checks into a hotel, it's all about that sort of thing?"

"But I..." She had been waiting for this opportunity for a while.

The manager scoffed: "What you think doesn't matter; it's all about what the young master wants. Bad luck for you. If a man's had his fill outside, he doesn't look for seconds. You should save it; thinking you're the main course or something..." Daisy clenched her teeth in frustration.

Meanwhile, Leda indulged in a luxurious bath, just finished blow-drying her hair when there was a knock at the door.

She thought it was York-

"What do you want, it's so late-uh!"

It wasn't York.

A young man stood at the doorway, their eyes met, and he offered an awkward smile, "Sorry, I think I got the wrong door."

"No worries." Leda was about to close the door again.
