Brandon was afraid that Mandel would have postoperative complications, so he stayed in the hospital until one in the morning. When Brandon returned to the Rose Villas, Savanna was asleep.

Brandon was afraid to wake Savanna up, so he went to another room to take a shower. After that, he quietly got to bed and lay down next to Savanna. After a while, he turned and held Savanna’s waist with his hands. Then he moved his body slowly toward her. Finally, he felt her warm and soft back. Brandon smiled with satisfaction.

For Brandon, he could only feel Savanna’s breath and her soul when he held her.

Brandon rested his chin on Savanna’s shoulder. He smelled the fragrance of her hair. Then Brandon closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Savanna opened her eyes and listened to Brandon’s breath. She quietly looked at the starry night sky outside the window and thought of the doctor’s words.
