Chapter 64:

Inside the Scott family’s residence, Phillip’s phone rang, and the bodyguard’s shaky voice came through. Hearing the report, Phillip snapped, “Why aren’t you here yet?” A few words were exchanged before he ended the call, his face drained of color.

Phillip stood by the study door upstairs, giving it a gentle knock. A frosty “come in” replied, and he pushed the door open to enter.

“Mr. Scott, the security guard watching over Miss Wilson reported that she, along with Mr. Hayes’ nephew, Kaiden, were taken by three men. They were last seen driving away from Glamour Club in Miss Wilson’s car,” Phillip recounted, his head bowed.

With a thud, Sean placed the file on his desk and rose from his chair, fury replacing his usual calm. “What use is the bodyguard if this happened? How could he let her get kidnapped when it was his responsibility to keep her safe?”

Feeling a chill, Phillip raised a hand. “Well… it all went down real quick, and the other party had guns… The bodyguard hadn’t even stepped foot in the garage when the men sped off in Miss Wilson’s car.”

Sean’s expression turned stern. He reached for his computer on the desk. “Prepare the car. I’ll be there in five minutes.”

“Understood.”

The sleek black sports car blended effortlessly into the darkness of the night. Sean hopped into the car, laptop in hand.

Once inside, Sean set the laptop on his lap. The faint glow from the computer screen illuminated his hardened face, adding to his menacing look.

“Have you brought any bodyguards along?” he asked, his voice low.
