Norah rose energetically, gathering her belongings before heading downstairs to drive. Thanks to Vinson, she now had a car, which made her outings much easier. As she approached the vehicle, the sudden sound of a car horn startled her.

Confused, she glanced toward the source of the noise, noticing the adjacent car honked twice. The unexpected honking made her uneasy, but she found the car oddly familiar. Moments later, the passenger-side window rolled down, revealing Marlin’s profile.
