After that night, it was as though Jethro had vanished into thin air. Not only did he not contact Leanna again, but he didn't even appear in any of the underground casinos.

However, Leanna wasn't worried, for she knew better than anyone that Jethro would come to her again once he was short of money. It was only a question of when.
