As I was about to turn my gaze away, I saw Chris turn his head. His eyes met mine through the window, and he frowned.

I didn't linger on him, instead turning my attention to Brandon. He was done. ordering and the waiter was repeating his order. Surprisingly, the dishes he'd chosen were all my favorites.
