“Aaron!” Before the car even came to a complete stop, Ellie flung open the door and dashed out.

Diana watched as Ellic ran to her brother, ignoring everything else. She glanced at Aaron and the sketchy group behind him. Calmly, she reached under her car seat and pulled out a handgun.

Just as Ellie helped Aaron in front of Diana’s car, the suspicious group caught up to them.
