Through the blinds, Ellie saw Quinlee enter Orion’s room, her hands nervously clenching each other tightly.

Today was supposed to be Ellie’s day off; she’d rushed over at dawn when Orion called abruptly. She hadn’t anticipated today would be the day they’d spring their trap.
