Quinn slid into the backseat of the car, her mind a whirl of thoughts. Galen wouldn't risk his potential ascension to the CEO position of Kennedy Enterprise for her sake. This thought brought a sliver of reassurance to Quinn's troubled mind. Outside, the rain had begun to fall once more. It seemed that every evening in Amber Bay was accompanied by rain. Sometimes it was a gentle drizzle, while other times it was a torrential downpour.
