Chapter 1198

Quinn wasn't really feeling the whole eating thing, but the smell was just too good to pass up, so she took a bite.

It wasn't amazing, but hey, it beat that bird from earlier. Still, she couldn't eat anymore.

"Done with this," she said, shoving the fish away. The forest was getting darker, and she just wanted to get out of there, even if it meant heading back to the cave.

She turned to Alexander and asked, "Can we still get outta here?"

Alexander paused, looked up at Quinn, and said, "Yeah, we can."

Quinn pressed her lips together, thinking about all the dangers. She wasn't doubting his words because she thought they couldn't get out, but because she was scared they might not make it. "We crashing here tonight?" she asked.

Alexander glanced at the sky. "Looks like it. This spot seems pretty safe for now."
