No one said a word on the road, and the silence was kinda creepy.

Once they left the forest, it was full-on daylight outside, making it feel like a whole different world compared to the dark woods.

They took a different path this time. Sure, it was a bit longer in the forest, but it was closer to home. The wild animals had been cleared out, so the trip was smooth sailing.
