After ditching the hospital, they snagged a room at a nearby hotel.

Quinn eyed him suspiciously. "We definitely booked two rooms just now!"

"The front desk called me and said the guest in that room hadn't checked out yet. They couldn't reach them before, but now they're back," Alexander explained. "Can they really do that?" Quinn asked, still not buying it.

Alexander nodded seriously. "Yeah, this isn't like back home. It's pretty normal. Since it's just us, it's better not to stir up trouble."

Seeing her expression, Alexander added, "What are you worried about?"
