Kiara screamed with tears streaming down her face as she jerked her waist forward.

“Kiara, it’s okay to scream. Just let it out, okay?” Heather murmured as she held onto Kiara’s hand but immediately began to regret it when Kiara began digging her claws into her skin.

They were in the labor room already even though Kiara’s water hadn’t broken. She had woken up this morning, screaming in pain while holding her stomach and since today was her due date, Heather had made them take her to the labor room.
