Arianna leaned against the balcony railing of the pack house, her gaze fixed on the distant tree line. Below, the pack grounds buzzed with activity as wolves prepared for the Alpha's departure. She smirked to herself, the sight stirring a mix of irritation and satisfaction. "Going to retrieve his precious Luna," she murmured under her breath. "How predictable."

Behind her, a soft knock sounded at the door. She turned to see one of her loyal allies-a lean wolf with sharp eyes and a knack for gathering information-enter the room.
