The morning air was thick with tension as Cassian prepared his wolves for the preemptive strike. He stood in the training grounds, his voice steady as he issued commands. Nathan and Gideon flanked him, their expressions grim but resolute. "We strike at dusk," Cassian announced. "We'll hit their camp hard and fast. If we weaken them now, it'll buy us time to fortify our defenses."

Gideon nodded but raised an eyebrow. "And what happens if they're waiting for us?"
