Aurora spent most of the next day in the healer's quarters, helping Iris and the others tend to the injured. Though the rogues' last attack had left few physical wounds, the emotional toll on the pack was undeniable. The wolves moved cautiously, their conversations hushed, as if afraid of what might come next.

Iris handed Aurora a small bowl of salve. "Take this to Beta Nathan. He's been ignoring his injuries again."
