Nathan and Gideon fought to hold the flanks, their blades flashing as they cut down rogue after rogue. But the enemy's numbers were endless, and the weight of the battle began to take its toll.

A Lycan charged toward Nathan, its massive form barreling through the line. Gideon moved to intercept, his blade striking true, but the creature's claws found their mark.
