Aurora sat across from Fenrir in his dimly lit chamber, the tension between them thick as a storm cloud. His golden eyes burned with protectiveness as she laid out the plan once more. "They'll be safe in the mortal world," Aurora said firmly. "The Lycan King's influence won't reach them there, and neither will the Pact's power."
