A typical night was what I expected. Which was usually spent work ing until I was far too exhausted or staring at the photos Elena had sent me. Other than that, not much happened in the city lately. We had night time curfews, and extra patrols. All borders were opened up, mostly due to the recent vampire attacks.

We have had more missing people in the past two weeks than we have in the city’s history. Which was the reason the city is shut down with curfews of a night now. Until we figured out who and how they were get ting in, it wasn’t worth the risk.
