He growls, his eyes flashing. “Then run,” he moves closer and I watch him for a second wondering what he means. “You don’t want to hunt, fine, but you will run.” he warns and I feel his aura slip out slightly and I fight against the urge to flee. My heart hammers in my chest.

“You’ll what?” I glance at the rabbit when I feel his presence overwhelmingly. When I look back at him he is towering over me, his fur brushing mine. He is that close.

“Shifted,” he offers with a growl. Despite myself, I match his growl with one of my own. Something inside me stirs at the challenge.
