“I’m not hunting you, you’re being absurd.” I tell him though. my blood sings in my veins at the idea, tempting but I don’t fancy a dart in my ass compliments of one of his guards thinking I am attacking their king.

He growls, his eyes flashing. “Then run,” he moves closer and I watch him for a second wondering what he means. “You don’t want to hunt, fine, but you will run.” he warns and I feel his aura slip out slightly and I fight against the urge to flee. My heart hammers in my chest.

“Don’t make me order you, love,” he purrs and I stumble a step back.

“I catch you…” he lets his words trail off.

“You’ll what?” I glance at the rabbit when I feel his presence overwhelmingly. When I look back at him he is towering over me, his fur brushing mine. He is that close.

“I catch you, I fuck you.” he says and I gasp.

“What? But you’re-”

“Shifted,” he offers with a growl. Despite myself, I match his growl with one of my own. Something inside me stirs at the challenge. The same primal urge I had felt while hunting the rabbit is back again, stronger than before. Except this time I’m not hunting a helpless creature but being hunted by a bigger predator.
