Jocelyn frowned and glanced at her phone screen. The call was from Lexie. She glanced at Zayn in the guest room through the glass door. Zayn just happened to look over as well.

Jocelyn frowned. “Did something happen to you?” 

Lexie had no intentions to hide anything from Jocelyn as well. She told her the truth. “Jim Rand keeps pestering me. I don’t want to stay in the hospital anymore!” 

Jocelyn instantly understood what had happened. She had been to the hospital a few times. She could tell that Jim kept visiting Lexie’s room as well. Regardless of whether he really liked Lexie, or he was just being playful, Lexie liked someone else. She would not be able to endure his tireless disturbance.
