Although Skyler had carried the white kitten away, Jocelyn was still in a state of shock. 

However, she still found it hard to believe that Skyler would really rear this kitten. After noticing the changes in the living room right now, an indescribable feeling surged into her heart. 

She walked over with light steps and noticed that the kitten was clean now. It lay on its bed like an adorable pile of white fur. There was a bandage around its injured leg. It seemed like someone had treated its wound. 

Jocelyn squatted down and reached out to caress the kitten’s body. 

The kitten opened its eyes slightly and poked out its little tongue to lick Jocelyn’s finger. Jocelyn’s heart instantly melted. 

She was just about to rub the kitten’s neck. She knew that cats loved it when their necks got rubbed. They would purr happily due to the comfort. However, a deep voice rang out behind her when she placed her hand on the kitten’s neck.” Whitie!” 

Jocelyn turned around at once. She saw Skyler staring at her and the kitten with a lowered head. He was dressed in casual clothing. 

Jocelyn pursed her lips instinctively. However, before she could say anything, Skyler smirked and said, “I was calling it!”
