Skyler glanced at Jocelyn, who was daydreaming with her head tilted to the side. He nodded and said, “Yes, sure!” They arrived home at night. 

Jocelyn took a shower and lay down on her bed. She turned around on her bed, but she could not fall asleep. 

She thought of how Walter treated her. It was as if nothing had changed from two years ago. She felt rather upset. 

Initially, she thought that she would be extremely nervous tonight. However, after seeing Walter, she suddenly realized that she had already put down her bitter crush on him after knowing that he had a fiancée back then. 

However, she still could not treat Walter like an ordinary friend. 

Walter was not just someone that she had once had a crush on. Disregarding the crush, Walter was still like family to her. 

Michael had been giving her a difficult time back then. She got bullied everywhere. Walter was the one who protected her as she grew up during the toughest few years of her life.
