Maid for the Mafia by Jaylee
Chapter 21
Mickey Savo
**ROMANY**
For the next four days I pretty much kept to myself. Closed up in my suite reading and allowing my skin to heal. I hadn't seen Damien or Alex or even his cousin Mickey, since that last morning when I threw the bacon in Stella's face. According to Stella, they went on a business trip and didn't think to tell me because, apparently, 'I am not important'. As much as I didn't want to let it bother me, I couldn't help but feel a *little* hurt. I didn't care that Alex didn't tell me, but I was honestly a bit surprised that Damien didn't either. Although I was grateful for the reprieve from the wild dynamic that was my new life, I was starting to get worried because Ruby still had not returned.
Even worse, she wasn't answering my texts.
So despite the fact that I appreciated only having to swap barbs with Stella during mealtimes, I was going to be needing those men back soon so that I could find out what was going on with my cousin. If something had gone wrong for her, I deserved to know about it.
Dressing in a short, flowy white sundress, with a vee neckline so low that it stopped just above my belly button, I smiled at my reflection. This dress was one of my favorites, and sexy as hell. It made my ass look like the promise of heaven and showcased my cleavage in such a way that has *literally* stopped traffic. With Alex and Damien gone, I had begun to enjoy flaunting my curves in front of Stella and the first floor maids. They hated me, that much was obvious, but I just couldn't really bring myself to give a damn.
Heading down to breakfast with a tolerant smile and a sinister sway to my hips, I psyched myself up for a new morning of breakfast bitch banter. So when I stepped into the dining room and found Mickey instead of Stella, I almost growled. "Where the hell is Stella?" I snapped without thinking.
