After a long hot shower I got dressed in one of the new outfits Alex gifted me - a bright yellow sundress that showed plenty of cleavage and just enough leg - then traipsed downstairs to have lunch. There were two guys I didn't recognize. One was smaller than the rest, of slight build, but with a face so soured by life that even his smiles looked cruel.

The moment I stepped into the room, his eyes lifted to mine and he sat back, almost in shock, before a slow sweet smile turned his lips. *Dear God.
