Chapter 3133 Like a Thorne

Matthew hurriedly stopped Alton, seeing that he was about to charge at him with a knife. "What happened to Delmont? I thought Thorneville was doing just fine!" "Bullsh*t! If you hadn't forced my leader and Thorneville to submit to you, he wouldn't have died, and Thorneville wouldn't have turned into a sea of fire!"

Matthew began to pick up Alton's version of the story. The young man was unaware of Thorneville's relocation and that Delmont was still alive, believing his leader and home had been reduced to ashes. "Wait, hold on. Didn't you check the back mountain of Thorneville? The new Thorneville has been rebuilt."

Alton was stupefied. He had visited Thorneville once and found it in ruins, which had left him too devastated to investigate further. He had vowed to gain strength and avenge his leader and Thorneville. "Also, I wasn't the one who destroyed the old Thorneville. Those people were hired by Tigre of the Durham Family."

Alton's entire body trembled as he stared intently at Matthew. "You're saying Tigre Durham hired the mercenaries who destroyed Thorneville?!"

Alton felt his mind reeling. Tigre had told him that he had already dealt with the perpetrators who destroyed Thorneville. Now Matthew was saying that they were hired by Tigre. Alton wondered what he had been doing all this time and felt like Tigre must think he was a fool. His vision darkened, but he still glared at Matthew. "You're not fooling me. My leader is already dead!"

Matthew silently pointed behind Alton, teasingly saying, "Well, I suggest you look behind you. The leader you proclaimed dead is watching you right now, just so you know."

Alton chuckled derisively, his face filled with scorn. "Matthew Larson, don't think I don't know your little tricks. You just want me to turn around so you can kill me. Let me tell you, I'm no longer afraid of death. At least I lived longer than my leader. That's worth it." Matthew looked at Alton with pity. Yeah, well, I have a feeling you'll go before him in a minute.

Ahem, ahem, ahem! Alton's subordinate kept coughing, trying to remind his leader as the large man behind him seemed increasingly "friendly."
