Chapter 3289 The Old Fox

Matthew and Kainne strolled side by side, chatting like old friends.

"Jenny, fetch my finest tea leaves and brew a pot for the Prime Regent," Kainne called out.

Jenny, the maid, paused, clearly puzzled. Kainne usually referred to three types of tea: good, best, and too precious to drink. Which one was he talking about now? "Sir, which tea exactly should I prepare?"

Kainne felt a headache coming on at her confusion. Matthew's cryptic smile only made him more uneasy.

Kainne waited for Matthew's next words, bracing himself.
