Chapter 3493 Matthew's Anger

"Are you looking to die?" Redwood sneered, his voice cold as he glared at Angus.

Angus responded with a mirthless laugh, his tone defiant as he raised his voice. "I may not go looking for trouble, but I sure as hell don't fear it."

Redwood's face twisted with rage. In all his years with the Viper Crew, commanding countless underlings, no one had dared to speak to him like this.

"Fine. Very well," he spat, his eyes narrowing as he glared at Angus. Turning to leave, he threw a parting threat over his shoulder. "Let's see if you're still this bold the next time I show up." Just as Redwood was about to step out of the door, Matthew's calm voice cut through the tension.

"Hold on."

Redwood turned back, his expression smug, assuming Matthew was about to beg for mercy. "Too late to beg now," he mocked. "You're all as good as dead."

Matthew's expression remained serene, his gaze fixed on Redwood. "Leave the money for the door before you go," he said evenly.

Redwood froze, momentarily stunned, before fury roared through him like a wildfire. "Did you just ask me to pay for a d*mn door?" he shouted, his voice booming with indignation.

Then, without waiting for a reply, he drew a gleaming pistol from his waistband and pointed it squarely at Matthew, his lips curling into a cruel smile. "Go ahead," he taunted. "Say that again-ask me for money for the door."
