The following people raised their hands. Almost the entire families of Alfred’s second and third wives raised their hands.
“How many are not in favor of it?” Alfred asked again.
Only the family of Alfred’s first wife raised their hands.

Alfred nodded and said, “I know. I’m getting old. I can’t control you guys anymore. We might as well split up!”

“My advice is also for the good of the Songo family. Granduncle made a wise decision. As a part of the family, we should support his decision. Why should I try to persuade him?” Cecelia asked with a faint smile.
Fiona said, “Chris, it is imperative for us to live separately. Do you think we all want to live with you guys? Do you think we want to look at your faces every day? It’s best if we live separately. We can all have our own place. We don’t have to look down our noses at each other!”
“How could the Songo family raise someone as ungrateful as you?”

Cecelia and Remington arrived at the hospital and got to see Spencer in the ward.
