“Oh, it’s a blessing for us that Dan is able to marry such a good girl like you, Naya.” Daniel’s mother kept praising Naya, seemingly forgetting what an excellent and exceptional man her own son was.

“Mrs. Graham, you speak too highly of me. I’m not as good as you said. It’s my greatest luck to marry
Dan.”
“Listen to how humble Naya is.” Daniel’s mother praised again. “Having a well-behaved and sensible daughter-in-law like you is a blessing for the Grahams.”
Naya blushed shyly when she heard this.

The face of Naya’s mother was also full of arrogance and smugness. “Naya, you’ll live a good life with Dan in the future. Now that you’re engaged, you’re no different from husband and wife. “I’ll take a look outside.”
Daniel’s mother said and was about to walk out.
Ava’s heart was already cold after hearing what she said just now.
As she turned to leave, a palm grabbed her hand all of a sudden.
Ava was startled, but when she heard the footsteps getting closer, the person behind her suddenly pulled her into the emergency stairway.
The voice-activated lights in the corridor turned on and Ava could see the person in front of her clearly.
“Maisie, it’s really you! I thought I was seeing things just now.” Ava looked at Maisie suspiciously. “Why are you here? Do you and Naya know each other?”
Maisie nodded, “She wanted me to be her bridesmaid, but I know your boyfriend is the one who’s going to be engaged to Naya today, so I rejected her.”
After listening to Maisie’s explanation, Ava was in a trance for two seconds.
