"Silver?" I heard Cara say as she shoved her way through the worried packmates to reach me. As soon as she reached me, she wrapped her arms around me and cried; her body shivering. "Oh, Goddess. What's happening?" "I don't know," I told her. "We just got back into town. You tell me."
She grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the growing crowd and towards the packhouse parlor so we could sit and talk.
