Chapter Thirty
Third Person POV.
Richard shifted impatiently in his chair, his eyes wandering around the bridal shop, taking in the
various racks of dresses. He had never been one to wait around while someone shopped, but this was a
special occasion, and he had no other choice but to be here.
He sighed, feeling a mix of boredom and eagerness to get this whole process over with.
After what felt like an eternity, the dressing room door finally swung open, revealing Amber in a
strapless wedding dress that clung to her body in all the right places.
Richard’s eyes widened, his breath catching in his throat as he took in the sight before him. He had never seen Amber in a wedding dress or anyone for that matter but he couldn’t believe how
stunning she looked.

Amber noted the shock on Richard’s face and felt a twinge of self–consciousness. She wanted to look.

she also wanted Richard to like the dress.

together.
She cleared her throat nervously, glancing down at the dress. “What…what do you think?” she asked,
her voice barely above a whisper..
Richard, who had been momentarily frozen, blinked and shook himself out of his trance. His face reddened as the words slipped out without filter. “You…you look almost angelic, it’s shocking,” he
blurted.
Amber’s eyes widened in surprise, her cheeks flushing pink. She couldn’t help but let out a laugh at his unexpected description. It was a genuine laugh, one that momentarily lifted the tension in the
room.
Richard quickly cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. “I mean, the dress is absolutely beautiful,” he added, his voice laced with embarrassment.
